Sharing Playthroughs

Readers can share their journey through your story with a public link, letting friends and followers see the path they took and the choices they made.

How It Works

After a reader finishes your story by reaching an ending scene, a “Share Your Journey” button appears. Readers can also access sharing from their Journal page at any time.

Clicking the button generates a unique public link to a shareable page that captures the reader’s experience.

What Gets Shared

The shared playthrough page displays:

  • Story title and author name.
  • Character name chosen by the reader.
  • Visual timeline of scenes visited and choices made throughout the playthrough.
  • Journey statistics summarizing events, choices, and endings reached.
  • Share controls for copying the link or posting it to social channels.

Long journeys start at the beginning. Readers can use Load later entries to continue through the shared timeline.

Public Page

Anyone with the link can view a shared playthrough without needing a Storyfall account.
