Dead Fever
The TV, blaring warnings and despair, would be more distracting if there wasn't mutated flesh and bone clawing at the freshly broken window of your room. Every thought begins and dies at an unfathomable rate. Screams of terror echo in the distance as the chaos engulfs your mind. Where should you hide? Who should you trust? How will you survive?
Three shells left.... BOOM. PHSSSSSS. A distorted face explodes into a spray of red mist. Two shells left.... Suddenly, you feel a piercing pain as one claws at your back. BOOM. BRACK. Another demon sent to hell. One shell left... There's at least a dozen more shambling down the hall. As you frantically look for an escape, your heart sinks, as the reality of the situation sets in. BOOM. CHUUNK. You take your last shot but it plants into a rotting chest, serving no purpose. Helpless, you feel your soul leave your body as the mob engulfs you....
